Tracing the 'spin' from the Enlightenment of the 18th century to the beginning of this new millennium, the author shows how God's love message in Jesus has been attacked and altered by the historical-critical method of biblical interpretation. Theologians, philosophers, and historians as well, have attempted to make their words and theories superior to God's Holy Word in Scripture. A flavor of some of the diverse interpretations is presented to awaken the people of God to what has happened to God's revelation of His perfect love which He has expressed in His son, Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior.
